At Hammam Spa London, we combine authentic Turkish and Moroccan hammam techniques with a modern, luxurious setting in East Dulwich, SE22.
A Turkish hammam traditionally uses a heated marble slab (göbek taşı) and focuses on foam massage and exfoliation. A Moroccan hammam uses black beldi soap made from olives and eucalyptus, followed by a kese body scrub. At our spa we offer both traditions — you can choose the experience that suits you best when booking.
A hammam session deeply cleanses and exfoliates the skin, removes toxins through steam, improves blood circulation, relieves muscle tension, and leaves skin feeling incredibly soft and renewed. Yes, we strongly advise booking in advance to guarantee your preferred time slot. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, but we cannot guarantee a space without a prior booking, particularly on weekends and for group or couples packages.
Yes, we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your appointment. This gives you time to settle in, get changed, and start your experience feeling relaxed rather than rushed. Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time.
We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will result in the loss of any deposit or prepaid fee. If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.
What to Expect

We recommend wearing a bikini for women and swimming shorts for men during your treatment. Towels, slippers, and all treatment products are provided by us — you do not need to bring anything except yourself. You are welcome to bring your own swimwear if you prefer.
Very little, we provide towels, slippers, and all organic treatment products. We recommend bringing a change of comfortable clothing for after your treatment. If you wear contact lenses, you may want to remove them before the steam room. Avoid wearing jewellery during treatments.

Our Gold Couples Package is £300 for two people and includes organic black soap treatment, herbal steam, body peel, full body foam massage, shampoo and hair wash, Jacuzzi, body mask, face mask, head massage, relaxation room access, and Moroccan tea and snacks, a full 2.5 hour experience.
